PLUMBING

So at 745 am i got a call from our supervisor, he is very on the ball!!!

He asked if i could meet with the plumbers today to let them know where i/we wanted the taps to go as we now have oval basins, not round.

At ten i went to meet with the plumbers but not before i found my lost car keys (in a shopping bag from last night in the pantry of all places!).

When i got the house the plumbers had already done so much work!!! check it out..

our pretty kitchen :) loving the under cupboard lights!

woohoo! my husband's choice! he wanted one at our last place. Much cheaper to do during the bulid though!

1700mm bath! i thought the cutout was too small, but apparently it fits.

Swing away taps, kinda cool. Didnt realise we would get them! but i do think the taps would have been better on the other end so we didnt have to reach beyond the cabinet

even the kitchen sink!

  1. Hi, I'm building in Qld and considering the same flooring (rustic nougat). Do you have any photos of the install as yet orate you still juggling jobs after handover?
The house looks great btw, love the brick tile look on the splash back.

ensuite splashback: botanica #1 pearl 600mx200m- upgrade- $378

    laundry:
como white glass 450mmx450mm upgrade $56

    kitchen:
cream wall gloss 100x300 standard, but it was $128 to have them in the pantry.

  7. This is nicely done! I also liked the colours that you used. Why did you decide to use swing away taps? These plumbers sure were fast in fixing up the place!

  8. This pic interests me so much as we are currently relocated from our home and our bathroom is being rebuilt. After 2 years we discovered that our bath was not connected to a pipe and all of the water was going into our home :( Porter Davis have been INCREDIBLY thorough with the fix so far although it was slow to get started and is of course very, very difficult as I have 2 young children and am pregnant. The thing that interests me about this pic is that we have been asking for taps on the wall and the consensus has been that on the vertical tiled surface was not recommended and then..here you have that! Really enjoying reading your blog.

  9. Gorgeous pictures! I'm glad that there were no issues on the actual installations, and that you're very much satisfied with your bathroom. As for the tap on the tab, it looks like the distance of edge of the tub from the wall is about the same from either side, so either way it should be okay. I hope these plumbing fixtures don't fail for quite a long time! Take care!
